In this satire on globalization, a super-secret government agency discovers they can manipulate world affairs using the Butterfly Effect that certain people have on the world. Tim, a cynical political staffer, is one of these people, and when he is kidnapped by Jill, the agency’s top recruiter, and forced to work for them, he quickly discovers that while he may be boosting the US economy he is simultaneously undermining the rest of the world. Now he and his handler must go rogue and betray their own country if they’re going to save the world from destruction.
